AUST-SHIMADZU Research & Development Center is a research facility as well as a training center for Shimadzu customers and users in the field of chromatography and spectroscopy for the Middle East and African countries.

This course is designed for beginners in High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) & CLASS-VP or LC workstation. The course includes theory and hands-on laboratory exercise to optimize the using of LC-2010 instrument.

The course will cover the basic principles, instrumentation, applications, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas chromatography (GC), focusing on GC- 2010 system. Qualitative and quantitative analysis, basic operation of the GC solution software, selection of capillary column, as well as a few basic sample handling techniques will be discussed in the applications part. This course is designed for beginners in Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) where the basic concepts of AAS would be introduced. There would also be practical sessions on the operation of AA-6300.
